Three phase electrical installation in Woking for workshops, businesses and larger homes with heavy loads such as heat pumps, machinery or fast EV chargers. We wire the boards and circuits, test and certify.

A normal home supply is single phase, on one live conductor. Three phase uses three, spreading a large load more evenly and allowing more power overall. It's common in commercial buildings and is becoming more common in homes with big electrical loads.
Three phase is worth looking at for workshops with heavy machinery, commercial kitchens, sites with several EV chargers, 22kW home chargers, larger heat pumps or homes where the single phase supply is already stretched. For many homes, single phase is still enough.
The three phase supply itself comes from your network operator, who must approve and connect it, sometimes with groundwork outside the property. This can take several weeks or longer. We can help with the application details and plan our wiring around their timetable.
We start by listing the equipment you want to run and checking your existing supply and boards. This shows whether three phase is needed, what supply size to ask for and what the new installation inside the building should look like.
Once the network operator has confirmed the new supply, we install the three phase distribution board and circuits, balance the loads across the phases and test everything. You receive an Electrical Installation Certificate covering the work inside the property.
Call or send us a message with what's wrong or what you'd like done. We aim to respond the same day.
There's no call-out charge. We look at the job, explain what's needed and give you a free, no-obligation quote.
We carry out the work, test it and hand you the right certificate, leaving everything safe and tidy.
Often, yes, but it depends on the local network near your property. Your network operator decides whether it can supply three phase and what work is needed to connect it. We can assess your loads first so you know what size of supply to apply for.
Yes. A 22kW charger needs a three phase supply, and many cars can only charge at up to about 11kW on AC anyway. For most homes, a 7kW single phase charger is enough for overnight charging, so it's worth checking your car's limit first.
The wiring inside the property usually takes a few days. The longer part is often waiting for the network operator to quote, approve and connect the supply, which can take several weeks or more depending on the work they need to do.
It can for larger heat pumps or homes that also run an EV charger, electric cooking and other big loads. Many domestic heat pumps run happily on single phase, so we check the model's requirements and your current supply before recommending an upgrade.
