Lighting installation in Woking for homes and businesses: ceiling lights, wall lights, pendants, strip lighting and new switching. We plan each room with you, then fit, test and certify the work.

Most rooms work best with more than one kind of light: general light from the ceiling, task light where you cook or read, and softer accent light from wall lights or LED strips. Planning these layers together gives a room that works in the day and feels relaxed at night.
Where switches go matters as much as the lights. Two-way switching at both ends of a hall or landing, separate switches for different zones and dimmers for living spaces all make lighting easier to live with. We plan the switching when we plan the lights.
LED lamps come in different colour temperatures. Warm white, around 2700K to 3000K, suits living rooms and bedrooms. Cooler white, around 4000K, suits kitchens, utility rooms and workspaces where you need to see detail. Mixing them in one room rarely looks right.
We visit to see the rooms, check the existing lighting circuits and talk through what you'd like. Your free quote lists each light, switch and dimmer, along with any new circuits, so it's clear what's included and where everything will go.
On the day, we run the cables, fit the lights and switches, and make good around them. Each circuit is tested before we hand it back. You get the right certificate, and we show you any dimmers or controls before we leave.
Call or send us a message with what's wrong or what you'd like done. We aim to respond the same day.
There's no call-out charge. We look at the job, explain what's needed and give you a free, no-obligation quote.
We carry out the work, test it and hand you the right certificate, leaving everything safe and tidy.
Swapping or adding a few lights in one room usually takes a few hours. Relighting a whole floor with new circuits and downlights can take several days. We'll give you a realistic timescale with your quote, based on the number of lights and how easily cables can be run.
Yes. We can usually take a feed from the nearest lighting circuit and run new cables to wall light positions, either through the ceiling void or chased into the wall. Some redecorating may be needed around the new wall lights.
Usually because the dimmer was designed for old halogen or incandescent lamps. LED lamps need a compatible dimmer, often a trailing-edge type, with a minimum load low enough for the number of lamps. Swapping the dimmer and using dimmable lamps normally fixes it.
